Mykel Derring, Giving Back

Today was a good day at Brighton once again. My old Spanish teacher teaches history this year and I got to help her with the class. I met with the principal today too. Told him how proctor is as a school and let him know about my senior project. Me and my coach reminisced about the good old days. Talked about Brighton before and now. Trying to compare the teams from them and to now. After school I helped one of th kids get a little work out in with me. Time: 7:30am-11:30am           12:00pm-2:15pm

Today was a good day at Brighton. I ran into a lot of my old teachers. They were very excited to see me after a long time of not visiting. Everyone that I know as a student calls me a legend so that felt good. Today I worked my beside coach Kurt to help him around school. Make sure kids were in class and not running around in the hallways. It was a good experience for the first day of my senior project. Very excited to do it. Time: 7:30am-11:30am           12:00pm-2:15pm
