Today was a good day at Brighton. I ran into a lot of my old teachers. They were very excited to see me after a long time of not visiting. Everyone that I know as a student calls me a legend so that felt good. Today I worked my beside coach Kurt to help him around school. Make sure kids were in class and not running around in the hallways. It was a good experience for the first day of my senior project. Very excited to do it.

Mykel Derring Kelly Griffin-Brown Senior Project 5/12/19 Weekly Reflection  It was good second week at Brighton High School. This week was more like relaxing and more chill. Especially with the kids that go there. They’re all rowdy but this week they were relaxing, maybe because of the weather. What I learned this week was basically how to be a Dean at High School like Brighton. A Dean is the faculty who deal with problems at school like kids misbehaving, fighting, etc. They make sure no one is roaming the hallways and help kids throughout the day. It’s a cool job, well it can be sometimes. I love what i’m doing. Being at the school that helped me and put me in the position i’m in today. Helping kids and helping them understand that they can make it. Also helping the basketball players that go there get better at school and basketball, teaching them the ways of being a student athlete and helping them achieve what they want to achieve.
